The Complete Miracleman Copyright Saga (1953-2018)

1. A lawsuit between DC and Fawcett Publications directly leads to the creation of the British superhero, Marvelman.

2. In the 80’s, the British comic book anthology, Warrior, begins to be published. Within the pages of this anthology Marvelman is revived and the rights to the character are split between four people: Dez Skinn, Alan Moore, Garry Leach and Alan Davis.

3. Warrior has ceased publication and Eclipse Comics begins to reprint the Marvelman series. The series is retitled Miracleman and Alan Moore finishes the saga he started before turning the series over to Neil Gaiman. The rights to the character become a jumbled mess when Eclipse goes out of business.

4. In 2009 Marvel Comics announces they have acquired the rights to Miracleman and plan to publish the further adventures of the character.

5. The issue of the Miracleman copyright comes to a conclusion.
