In this video, I'm walking through how I set up my drum reverbs on the Behringer X32. I'm using a gated reverb and a standard drum reverb together, and I'll show you exactly how I balance the two to get a big, punchy drum sound.

I'll walk you through the dry drum signals first so you can hear the starting point. Then we'll listen to the drum reverb and gated verb separately before bringing them together. I'll show you how I level them off (there's about a 10 dB difference between the two), and how I use a DCA to control the overall reverb level as one fader.

If your drums sound flat and lifeless, or you've been afraid to mess with reverb because you don't want things to get washed out, this video will help. I'll show you how to add size and punch without losing clarity.
