1. Shelter (30%): R3000
2. Transport (20%): R2000
3. Food (15%): R1500
4. Communication (5%): R500
5. Investments (10%): R1000
6. Charity (5%): R500
7. Gamble (5%): R500
8. Other (10%): R1000

Notes:
1. Shelter: rent or bond.
2. Transport: (car instalments & insurance & fuel) or (taxi/bus/train).
3. Food: groceries & takeaways.
4. Communication: phone/laptop/airtime/data.
5. Investments: money working for you.
6. Charity: high school, tertiary, church, family, other.
7. Gamble some of your money with a view of making 100% to 1000% per annum.
8. Other: health, entertainment, etc.

- Edit this budget to suit your own specific needs.

NOTE: If you have CHILDREN, they should be limited to 20% of your budget. Investments and Charity will then fall under Other.
