Migration of the Changthang Nomads | Living with the Changpas of Ladakh - 5/6

The semi-nomadic lifestyle of the Changpas keeps them constantly on the move in search of pastures for their animals. Each tribe has their own set of grazing areas for different times of the year. They migrate between these places every few weeks, taking all their animals, their families and most of their belongings with them. The migration of the Changpas is quite the spectacle and I was fortunate enough to witness the most amazing spectacle of them all. A winter migration of the Changpas.
