LEECHES- Everything you need to know before going for a Monsoon trek

LEECHES
Something that many of us dread about 😅. Well leeches are an integral part of any western ghats monsoon trek😊. We cannot completely avoid them even after taking precautions 😅.The bite of leech cannot be detected until we check due to the chemical it inflicts during the bite which doesn't give pain. Even after removing the leech ,blood oozes out without clogging like with regular cuts and wounds.
1. Well few precautions could be using salt,petrol,dettol,sniff.
2. Post leech bite remedies include cleaning the leech bite with Dettol and preferably apply band aids for a day or two until the wound dries up. It's gonna be itchy for a good 3-4 days and it's completely normal, nothing to worry about.
3.If you are looking for getting rid of the leech bite marks, use few drops of tea tree oil or bi-oil on them.
Disclaimer:-1. I am not complaining about the LEECHES. The forests have remained to be their home for ages now . I was an outsider who went to visit them.So is the case with everyone else .So Stop complaining about the leeches for they didn't invite us home to get bitten 😆

When they can thrive everyday, lead life calm, composed, cooperatively
Why should we complain or what rights a visitor has got to curse them 😍🙏🙏🙏
