There is a setting inside your Amazon seller account that allows Amazon itself to purchase your inventory directly. And the majority of sellers either do not know it exists or have never turned it on.

What This Actually Looks Like

In our account we have 3,521 orders coming from a single address in Germany and 1,450 orders from one address in the UK. That buyer is Amazon. These are not individual customers. Amazon is purchasing our stock directly and the volume is significant.

The Return Advantage

On every single one of these orders, we have had zero customer returns. When Amazon buys your stock directly, you are not dealing with individual buyer behaviour or return requests on that inventory. That alone makes these orders some of the cleanest and most straightforward in the account.

How to Enable the Setting

It takes less than two minutes to turn this on.
Here is exactly where to find it.
Go to the Settings cog in your Seller Central account.
Select Fulfillment by Amazon.
Scroll down until you find the setting that allows Amazon to purchase your stock.
Enable it.
Done.

The Bigger Opportunity

We operate across six marketplaces and Amazon uses a wide range of different addresses for these purchases across all of them. The additional sales volume this generates on top of your existing FBA sales is a real and largely untapped opportunity for most sellers.
