About Lötscher:
All clocks are made from linden wood. They are handmade, hand carved and manually assembled in Brienz. The special wood is aged for several years to ensure that the clocks won't warp or crack in humid or dry environments. While this is the most expensive way to manufacture clocks it's also what separates Lötscher cuckoo clocks from others. Each carved model consists at least 146 different pieces and every chalet is accurately reproduced and artistically portrayed in a traditional example of Swiss handicraft.
