Sri Lankan Airlines A330 takeoff from Maldives (MLE)

Pushback, engine startup, backtrack and takeoff of a Sri Lankan Airlines Airbus A330 from the Velana International airport in Maldives.

After we backtracked to takeoff, the captain made an announcement and informed us that the ATC has informed them of some debris on the runway. So we had to wait until it was cleared.

The new runway under construction at MLE is also visible in this video.
