Pulling A Blown 318! - Engine Autopsy, What Went Wrong?

I seem to have a bag habit of buying cars that are in need of an engine replacement. This Satellite was no different! The 318 was seized but as I dug a little further, I found that a connecting rod bearing had let go as well.

So once a junk 318 comes out, you really can't replace it with another under powered small block right? Well I sourced out a nice little 383/727 combo. Hopefully they will be in better shape than the blown 318.

So now you can look forward to watching me struggle doing a big block swap in this fine B Body. Assuming the "new" motor isn't a boat anchor.....
