Macron makes Brexit swipe during state banquet speech

French President Emmanuel Macron took a swipe at Brexit during his state banquet address at London's Guildhall on Wednesday (9 July).

The French President said: "I'm very respectful of the voice of the people and the choice your country made nine years ago. But I have to say, the European Union was stronger with you, and you were stronger with the European Union."
