Kenya: Silent War, the full documentary.

In June 2018, I flew out to the eastern quarter of Kenya to spend a week filming with the Tsavo Trust and Kenya Wildlife Service, as the first cameraman ever to do so. With my good friend Max Haller, we followed the men on the ground and the pilots in the sky to document the ongoing fight against poaching in the Tsavo National Park. With so many elephants and giraffes falling victim to the threat of poaching across the continent, it was absolutely incredible to see how much progress has already been made in this ongoing war to protect these animals.

Having the opportunity to meet these men and hear their stories, to fly in the planes across the park, and to see rare black rhinos with my own eyes, it was no doubt one of the best experiences of my life. Credit where it's due, Max and Haller Foundation made the entire project possible, offering the unique chance to shed light on the consistent hard work from all of the rangers and trust representatives in this part of Kenya. It's something I will undoubtedly never forget.
