How Christians Are Deceived

Christians are deceived in many ways, but it always involves a deviation from scripture. Blind appeal to authority without testing the authority as we are commanded to do leads down a very dangerous road. We all claim to be "Bereans," but are we really? We affirm "Sola Scriptura" but are we really prepared to let God be true and every man a liar? The psychology of compliance is an interesting study and one that Satan is keen to exploit. Only God's Word can make us wise, and separate truth from error.
A nice voice and good diction say nothing of truth value. We must be discerning by God's Word.
