Maathey | Bharatanatyam by 23 dancers during #lockdown

Social distancing cannot stop the artists. We are meant to flow art to this world. Have you imagined watching stage full of artists dancing during the lock down? Yes! We as dancers miss it as well.

This is a small initiative by me to bring back all the dancers together even though we are not.

You will witness 23 Bharatanatyam dancers here in this video spreading joy and I would not hesitate to say that not everyone have been dancing full time. You might find flaws but I request you all to see the effort behind this.

As an artist we all know, how hard it is to find the platform to showcase our art. So, here my strong hold on the below quote by Arthur Ashe helps me create.

" Start where you are, Use what you have, do what you can"
