Repairing Wrecked Buggy Surrey Top Irons | Engels Coach Shop

High winds can somersault a surrey as the surrey top acts like a sail. Fundamental blacksmithing often requires straightening twisted iron instead of adding twists and curls. Building and restoring horse drawn vehicles, even today, involves buggy and carriage repairs due to accidents and wrecks. These top irons received the majority of the damage when high winds overturned this surrey during a night camp on a northern Montana wagon train. Step by step, these bends can be straightened out to where this top will be functional again.
