How to Make Crispy Golden Hash Browns on a Flat Top Grill {Perfect Hash Browns on Camp Chef Griddle}

Shredded Hash Browns are amazing and easy to make on a Flat Top Grill. I cooked these on my Camp Chef but you could also do them on a Blackstone Griddle or whatever you own. I ended up doing them three ways as an experiment and one of them got burnt. I thought it would be good to share so you don't make the same mistakes I did.

Steps:

1. Preheat your griddle to 350 or 375 degrees. This is medium or medium low on the Camp Chef it could be a little higher on a Blackstone.
(this was my first mistake, my griddle was on medium which was too high)

2. Put down a decent amount of oil, then add one cup of shredded hash browns per person.

3. Put a weight or smash burger press on top of them to get even cooking. I tried it three different ways and this produced the best results.

4. Cook on each side for six minutes.
