DIY Wheel Truing Stand (~$30)

This is a quick video about the lessons I learned in building a DIY bike wheel truing stand. The key takeaways are (1) using a piece of threaded rod as an axle, (2) nut end caps to act as a reference point, (3) making the reference arms fine-tunable, and (4) a cheap dial gauge from Amazon. The stand is easy enough to make and pretty darn cheap ($~30) but if it seems too difficult (or you just want to help me save up for a set of carbon hoops made by Shane at Dryve Wheels (https://www.dryvewheels.com/)) check out the affiliate links below.
