California Cruelty-Free Cosmetics Act Signed Into Law By Governor Brown: This Is Huge!

The Animal Cruelty-Free Cosmetics Act (SB 1249) was passed into law by California Governor Brown thanks to a partnership between the Physicians Committee and Social Compassion In Legislation. The grassroots campaign which included celebrities such as Alicia Silverstone, Moby, John Salley and others, will ban the sale of personal care products that have been tested on animals in California.
