During her appearance on the June 5 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the beloved TV personality neither confirmed nor denied the speculation but left the door open to future possibilities.

Hoda praised Kelly, calling her "in a class all by herself," and described herself as a "never say never" person when it comes to new opportunities. For now, she shared that she’s enjoying her current career path but admitted that TV remains her “first love,” suggesting she could be open to new projects down the line.

Hoda also weighed in on who might replace her on Today alongside Jenna Bush Hager. Since Hoda left the fourth hour of Today, Jenna relaunched it as Today With Jenna & Friends, featuring co-hosts like Scarlett Johansson, Taraji P. Henson, Keke Palmer, Amy Poehler, and Dwyane Wade.

When asked for her picks, Hoda mentioned Savannah Guthrie and Justin Sylvester as strong contenders. She also praised Scarlett Johansson for her guest-hosting stint, saying, “Scarlett crushed it… she said it was her favorite job.”
