Launch of the Quad Tech Network (QTN)

The National Security College (NSC) at the Australian National University hosts the webinar launch of the Quad Tech Network (QTN), an Australian Government initiative to promote regional research and public dialogue on cyber and critical technology issues. This virtual panel discussion is opened by Dr Tobias Feakin, Ambassador for Cyber Affairs and Critical Technology. Professor Rory Medcalf, Head of the NSC, chairs a wide-ranging discussion on cyber and critical technology issues across the Indo-Pacific, with a particular focus on opportunities for collaboration and engagement between the four members of the Quadrilateral Security Dialogue, or Quad. Speakers include:
Martijn Rasser - Senior Fellow in the Technology and National Security Program at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS).
Professor Narushige Michishita - Vice President and Professor at the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS) in Tokyo.
Dr Kohei Takahashi - Researcher at the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies at GRIPS.
Trisha Ray - Associate Fellow at the Observer Research Foundation (ORF) Technology and Media Initiative.
Professor Jolyon Ford - Professor and the Associate Dean (International) at the Australian National University (ANU) College of Law.
Katherine Mansted - Senior Adviser for Public Policy at the National Security College.
