Seven Sinners (1925) Trailer | Incomplete

An incomplete trailer of surviving silent film, "Seven Sinners". Directed and screenplay by Lewis Milestone, the film is also based on Milestone's story (with Darryl F. Zanuck). This film is now celebrating 95 years anniversary. "Seven Sinners" was lost because Jack L. Warner could be destroyed, alongside First National's Convention City, in late 1948. Most of pre-January 1, 1950 Warner Bros. films, including Seven Sinners (while the film was lost and never broadcasted on TV), were sold to television distributor, Associated Artists Productions and then they were re-copyrighted by United Artists until 1981 when MGM bought UA. Then, Ted Turner purchased MGM in March 1986, but this studio was sold back to Kerkorian a few months ago of that same year. Since TimeWarner (now WarnerMedia) owns pre-1950 WB film libraries, including lost films. Almost 90 years later, Seven Sinners (1925) was discovered in Australia and this film was restored and screening in Queensland. However, after it discovered and preserved at Academy and WB, "Seven Sinners" is not currently available on DVD and Blu-ray, as well as on Turner Classic Movies, and on HBO Max, a streaming service.

Property of Turner Entertainment Co. and Warner Bros. Entertainment.
