Timing Chain on Golf R32 Mk5 (VR6) - Part 8 - Removing Chains and New Chain Guides

I have been planning on doing this timing chain and clutch job for a year or so now on the Golf but had to get various other projects finished first such as building a car port for the car I had stored in the garage, and sorting some storage space out for the parts as I remove them. I'm no mechanic and only have DIY experience but as I felt like a challenge and as I don't daily the car I thought why not.

I was always planning on documenting the video anyway and keeping it for reference so I thought why not just do a little bit of editing and upload it to YouTube? Hopefully someone will find this useful to see perhaps what I've done, where I went wrong and how difficult it was to help them decide if they want to have a go at this themselves.

I'll be posting part numbers and so on in the description as I use them. Please feel free to offer any advice or have any suggestions as I say I'm no mechanic and so any constructive advice is greatly appreciated.

This part is removal of chains and fitting of new plastic chain guides.
