We explored a wide area of greenery by kayak in a large lagoon at Al Zorah Nature Reserve in Ajman. It is the home of a variety of birds, including migratory flamingos (which you can spot from a distance) and several marine animals.

The 1 and a half hours of guided tour took us across the mangroves and even further into the lagoon of dense green caves.

Who would have thought that this lush greenery is just around the corner of UAE?
