Desktop Metal solves a unique problem with bringing 3d printing to additive manufacturing; speed. Desktop Metal can print high quality objects up to 100 times the rate of their competitors. However, the competition is catching up, and the 3d printing additive manufacturing market has been slower to develop than many had projected. Can they keep their competitive advantage while the market matures? That only only time will tell, but here we will do a deep dive into this promising market and technology.
