Editor's Note: There are no words to describe how deeply I've fallen in love with this show. I've always been a fan of period dramas but so rarely are black people who look like me showcased in a positive or romantic light as they are in Bridgerton. It meant the world to me, to see us not depicted as slaves but as equals to our white counterparts especially in a day and age where it is was simply unheard of. I've fallen in love with the Bridgerton family and even began the books shortly after binging the first season. Which are equally as lovely and enjoyable. I won't babble but I highly recommend the series to anyone who loves period drama romance, it is that and so much more. I'm very much looking forward to all the wonderful love stories for each and every Bridgerton sibling that is soon to come.
