7-Week Old Chickens Taking Dirt Bath

Here's a video of our 7-week-old chickens taking a dirt bath under an evergreen tree in our backyard in Anchorage, Alaska. The Anchorage Municipality currently allows urban chickens, and our young backyard brood of 8 loves taking dirt baths. Their run and coop are under construction in this video, and we're letting them roam around the yard. If they're not eating grass or chasing bugs, they're taking dirt baths in the shade!
