We are pleased to share a quick update from the location.

As part of our responsibilities under the Project Management Agency (PMA), we are actively monitoring the on-going Loss Reduction (LR) in Kashmir under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS).

The Loss Reduction under the RDSS scheme. These initiatives are aimed at strengthening the distribution network, reducing technical and commercial losses, expanding household connections, and improving overall system reliability.

The upgraded infrastructure will enhance power supply efficiency minimize outages, and support reliable service delivery to consumers.

Current activities under KPDCL RDSS include:

Loss Reduction Infrastructure Works (viz Reconductoring of 0.1 conductor (dog)
Smart Metering Works
Our team is closely supervising these key power infrastructure activities to ensure quality standards, adherence to timelines, and compliance with technical specifications.
