Camping Šobec was established back in 1956 with a vision of becoming a deluxe, premium and salient vacation centre, offering its guest genuine contact with nature, excellent services and an unforgettable vacation.

Camping Šobec is located in one of the most beautiful regions in Slovenia, if not Europe. Amazing nature surrounding the camp will leave no one indifferent – even our long-term returning guests. The view of the Julian Alps peaks and Karawanks, reflecting in the crystal clear waters of the Sava Dolinka River and Šobec natural lake are truly a sight for sore eyes. Imagine how nice it would be to wake up in the morning and take in such stunning views! This is exactly what we had in mind when we decided to establish the camp. In the 60 years of our existence, we have enhanced the camp with lovely wooden bungalows, built in a traditional Alpine style, and added a colourful spectrum of sporting, cultural, culinary and other activities to enrich your vacation.
