This is almost the exact same model that Grandma and Grandpa Menninga used to have. I've been inspired to make my own homemade bread for over 20 years thanks to them and the machine they had. I really loved the sounds that machine made. I figured that this machine and the sounds it makes would remind me very much of the house on West Mound Road near Platteville, Wisconsin.
