This is practical series of face and rim shaft alignment . This is part 2 rough alignment. First you have to do soft foot correction . that is part 1. Soft foot correction is important because because if not corrected the reading will change every time you tight the bolts . Soft foot is due to base plate not making contact with surface at any supporting point . It is like one chair support with gap . See my video what is soft foot .
