Atomic Host - Working with a git like operating system - Marcel Lambacher

Atomic Host is an immutable operating system for hosting containers​​​. It's based upon rpm-ostree which is a hybrid packet manager for managing bootable, immutable, versioned filesystem trees from upstream RPM content. This talk gives you a first introduction about what Atomic Host exactly is, how you can use it and most importantly what the common use cases are. After you're familiar with the key concepts, we'll build our very own custom OSTree within a quick demo session and learn, how we can integrate it into an Atomic Host based distribution.​​ To finish this talk, I'll give some insights about the limitations and best practices of Atomic Host and rpm-ostree.
