Old Low Note Compilation | JD Sumner, London Parris, Thurl Ravenscroft

Here’s a compilation of very old low notes from three very good, but deceased, bass singers. You probably already know this but all the notes featured are chest voice. No extended techniques, although maybe a bit of fry, but chest for the most part.

I cut the video off at Eb1 because Thurl and London bottom out at E1/Eb1. The rest of the video would just be JD all the way down to C1 lol. But, there was still plenty to work with from C#2 - Eb1. I tried to use lots of old quartet clips from the 50’s and 60’s, those don’t get used too often in compilations.

I’m sure there’s at least one note I inaccurately pitched, feel free to let me know for future reference.
