VISIT: The Berry at The Louie Motel

"Coast trips are a regular part of my work with the @elakhaalliance, so I’m always on the lookout for special places to stay - and checking out @thelouiemotel was high on my must-stay list ✨!

I snagged Room One: “Louie Louie,” named after Richard Berry (the original publisher of the iconic song), and wow, the attention to detail is truly unmatched 🎶 Retro, cozy, and thoughtfully designed down to the smallest touches. The record selection was on point! There’s even a communal outdoor fire pit, which was a great spot for watching the sunset with a cocktail in hand.

@thelouiemotel is just a 2-minute walk to the beach, steps from amazing art shops and restaurants, and only a 5-minute drive across the bridge to the @oregoncoastaquarium - where I obviously had to stop by and say hello to my favorite marine mammals while I was in town 🦦💙

If you’re heading to the Newport area, I highly recommend booking one of these comfortable, retro rooms. It’s the kind of place that makes a coast trip feel extra memorable"
