Best Mini for Retro Gaming & Emulation? Used vs New! Prodesk 600 G3 / ZimaBoard 2 / Blackview MP20

What cheap Mini PC would be best for Retro Gaming and Emulation purposes? A used HP Prodesk 600 G3 seems like a pretty popular choice, as are modern mini PCs with an Intel N100/N150 or similarly priced Ryzen 3 machines.

I'm using the Blackview MP20 with a Ryzen 3 3300U and 16GB of DDR4 memory against a used Prodesk that I had bought myself for this test. I'll also use the ZimaBoard 2, which has the same Intel N150 APU that a lot of cheaper mini PCs are equipped with.

All of the machines will run Batocera off of the same NVMe drive, trying different emulators from PlayStation to Wii-U and everything in-between. We'll also try a few Windows games like FlatOut, Duke Nukem Manhattan Project and Warhammer 40K Boltgun!
