King Coal Powder River raillfanning

we're set up for a day along the Powder River Basin coal line, aka the BNSF Orion sub, near the summit of Logan hill in rural Wyoming. We catch as many as 14 coal drags from the UP and BNSF including a manned helper set on the rear of a loaded UP coal train fighting the grade out of the mines. Sit back, relax and turn up the volume to hear trains battling the grade to bring king coal from the mines to the main line's of the BNSF and Union Pacific.
Other info. With our day jobs pushing us to near burn out, they were all the eager to grant vacation to prevent burn out, and what better way to social distance while on vacation then to go out to Wyoming, Colorado and northern New Mexico. this is video 1 of possibly 3 covering our trip to the powder river basin, a ride on the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic, and a side trip to see the semaphores and wig-wag along the Southwest Chiefs trek from Chicago to LA.
