Los Angeles Metro Regional Connector

Parsons Brinckerhoff, in joint venture with AECOM, was selected to provide Advanced Conceptual and Preliminary Engineering for the $1.3B Regional Connector project by the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority. Parsons Brinckerhoff Project Visualization provided a key differentiator during the pursuit by developing a digital city model of downtown LA, which placed the project in context and effectively illustrated the team's overall understanding of key issues and alternatives. The 3D animation, generated from the model, provided an innovative way to tell the project's complex story and address specific topics in the interview. Parsons Brinckerhoff's 3D model will now be leveraged throughout the project lifecycle to support planning, design, delivery and outreach processes.
The project is progressing, design changes are not reflected in this pursuit video.
