Venite Adoremus - Hour of Power with Bobby Schuller
Pastor Bobby concludes the series of messages entitled: Immanuel: God with Us. Today’s message, “Venite Adoremus.”
The Darden Sisters: Selah, Clarah, Havilah, and Tabithah are a talented family who have been performing together at churches and events across the country from a very young age. They have a distinctly folk sound, with heavy Americana, pop, bluegrass, and country music influences. Their impressive vocal skill is paired with a diverse musical ability, with each sister able to play at least three instruments each to accompany. Visit dardensisters.com for more information. Today, they perform: “Away in a Manger” (comp: Sir David Willcocks; W.J. Kirkpatrick).
Joe Tatar is a musician whose musical career has spanned over 60 years. He has been performing in Orange County for many of those years. He is also the grandfather of the Darden Sisters. Today he performs with his four granddaughters: “Go Tell it on the Mountain” (Aaron Joseph Neville; John W. Work).
Hour of Power 50th Anniversary Clip – On November 23, 2003, Dr. Robert H. Schuller interviewed Andy Griffith, and Andy recited the story “The Christmas Guest”. This episode aired in HOP #1765.
Directed by Dr. Irene Messoloras, the Hour of Power Choir performs “Gesu Bambino” (comp: Pietro A. Yon). Erin Wood is the featured virtual soloist. The choir is accompanied by Zeljko Marasovich on the organ.
Call to Worship “O Come, All Ye Faithful” (comp: John Francis Wade; arr: J. Carl/M. Riley)
