National Day for Truth and Reconciliation 2025
Today, on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we reflect on the importance of acknowledging history and culture, working in true partnership, supporting Indigenous prosperity and incorporating traditional practices into environmental stewardship.
In the words of OSSGA Executive Director Mike McSweeney, "Truth and reconciliation isn’t just September 30th, we should be approaching our work everyday though a lens of truth and reconciliation – prioritizing how we can empower Indigenous communities and incorporate traditional practices into our work."
