How Russians celebrate New Year and why it's more important than Christmas (vlog)
Christmas is a religious holiday and in Russia it is celebrated on the 7th of January. But the most important holiday for us is the New Year, and it’s celebrated on the 31st of December. It’s the time when we can sum up the results of the year, finally relax and have a delicious meal with our family. We even have a saying: “The way you meet the New Year will be the way you spend it”.
In this video I will show you my journey from Khabarovsk to Spassk and how I celebrated this New Year. Thank you for being here and I wish you all the best in the new year!
