Swiss Krautrock band raised in Germany, McChurch Soundroom (or Mc Church's Sound Room as they were originally named) hailed from Basel and were fronted by Italo-Swiss multi-instrumentalist Sandro "Sandy" Chiesa (his surname means Church in English, hence the band name).
Although not credited on the release, the band was: Heiner Althaus (guitar), Alan Veltin (organ, piano, vocals), Noby Jud (drums, percussion), Sandy Chiesa (vocals, flute, acoustic guitar) and Kurt Hafen (bass). Their original LP "Delusison" was released in 1971 on the legendary Pilz label (Popol Vuh, Wallenstein, Witthuser & Westrupp...). This psych folk underground act is now cult.
