The Problem With THOR In Avengers: Endgame

Chris Hemsworth's Thor Odinson has been one of the most prominent and important characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since he first appeared back in 2011, in his debut solo movie - and that was never more true a fact than in this year's Avengers: Endgame.
He played a huge role in the movie - along with several other characters, like Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow and Doctor Strange - but he'd changed a lot since Avengers: Infinity War and he felt quite problematic in a number of ways as a result.
In this video, we'll be discussing all the problems with Thor in Avengers: Endgame - and there WILL be spoilers (both in the video itself AND the following text).
The main problem came due to the fact that his predicament was played for laughs - and given that his predicament was that he was overweight, practically addicted to alcohol, and suffering from mental problems, that wasn't cool.
But his power levels were also all over the place and completely inconsistent with previous portrayals. How, for example, did Stormbreaker nearly kill Thanos when he was wielding all six Infinity Stones in Avengers: Infinity War, yet Thor was nearly killed by a stone-free Thanos when he had both Stormbreaker AND Mjolnir in Avengers: Endgame?! It really doesn't make any sense?
