This lawnmower wont start normally. If I spray starting fluid, also known as ether into the carburetor, it fires up and runs fine. This tells me that I have a dirty carburetor. While you can disassemble and clean these carburetors, its quite a bit of work and doesn't always fix the problem. I recommend replacing the carburetor. This video will show you how to find the part number and install the replacement carb. This Bolens lawnmower (model 11A-B0BL765) that was purchased from Lowes, has a 140cc Briggs & Stratton engine (09P602-0076-F1) and the carburetor is Briggs and Stratton part number 799583. This is a black plastic carburetor.

This is a Bolens lawnmower (model 11A-B0BL765) with a Briggs & Stratton engine, but the same technique will work on practically any small engine for a lawn mower, power washer, snow blower, tiller, pressure washer, go cart whether it is a Briggs and Stratton, Kohler, Tecumseh, Honda, or other manufacturer.
