Unboxing SNCF Type UIC-Y Vru restaurant car by Roco

Today we're taking another older Roco model out of the box: the Roco UIC-Y Vru dining car of the SNCF in red/silver from Era IV, item number 44618. This model goes perfectly with the other Roco UIC-Y carriages of the SNCF that I already own. The model is in near-mint condition and comes in its original packaging.

The original carriages were used in national and international express trains between 1965 and 1995. Built between 1964 and 1976 according to the UIC-Y standard, they were 24.5 meters long. The model measures approximately 285 mm in length, thus representing the carriage to the exact scale. Era IV/V, from 1964 onwards.
