We all go through trouble in this life, but God has a reason for it.

"For the sorrow that is according to the will of God produces a repentance without regret, leading to salvation, but the sorrow of the world produces death." 2 Corinthians 7:10 (NASB1995)

When we ask Him to forgive us of our sins, He comes to live within us, and is always there to help us with any problem we have. Nothing is too much for Him. Only He can truly solve sorrows we go through.

"This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for He faced all of the same testings we do, yet He did not sin." Hebrews 4:15 (NLT)

And of course, Jesus is the only way to Heaven. We can't have a future in the next life with Him if we're without Him in this life.

"“Enter through the Narrow Gate; for the Gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to Destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the Gate is small and the Way is narrow that leads to Life, and there are few who find it." Matthew 7:13-14 (NASB1995)

"and after he brought them out, he said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” They said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.” And they spoke the Word of the Lord to him together with all who were in his house." Acts 16:30-32 (NASB1995)

Below is an example prayer that you can do to ask God for the forgiveness of your sins, if you believe in your heart that Jesus died on the cross for your sins and rose on the 3rd day!

"Lord, I know I am a sinner. I know and believe that You sent Your Son Jesus to die on the cross for my sins and rose Him on the 3rd day. Please forgive me of all my sins and sent Your Holy Spirit to come and live within me. Thank You, Lord. In Jesus's Name, amen."

If you prayed to God that prayer and meant it in your heart, then you are now and forever a child of God!
