Hannah is a competitive cyclist. She has a feeding pump and tube that runs a metabolic formula directly into her stomach. Her backpack holds all her special equipment. She definitely lives life to the extreme and doesn't let anything stop her.
"My name is Hannah and I am seventeen years old. I had a complicated start in life that included 25 hospital stays in two years."
"I was really sick! I got my g-tube when I was six and flew 4 times a year to see my specialists. I also had special doctors at Cleveland Clinic, Houston, and New Orleans and Oklahoma City. When I was nine, I got a Make A Wish trip to Disney World, but it never stopped me from riding a bike. At the age of thirteen I competed in my first race, and that inspired me to be a competitive cyclist. Soon after that I decided that I want to be an Olympian. Now I don't like to back down from a competition, so we moved From Tulsa, Oklahoma To Colorado Springs, Colorado where I trained in the Olympic Training Center. Let's just say that I will be having that dream for a few more years. I have several medals that I won, and I plan on not only being a competitive cyclist, but a motivational speaker too."
