What tomato supports do you use? 🍅👇

Most tomato cages at the store are way too short for vigorous indeterminate varieties 😅

Some indeterminate tomatoes can grow 6-10 feet long in a single season, so they’ll quickly outgrow a lot of these common supports 🌱

Here’s my ranking from worst to best at Lowe’s:
🍅 Basic wire cages = flimsy and rust fast
🍅 Vinyl coated cages = better, but still pretty short
🍅 Tomato towers = sturdier, but many plants will still outgrow them
🍅 Collapsible plant support = the closest option I found for handling larger tomato plants 💪

Even the better options can still get overwhelmed by vigorous indeterminate tomatoes 👀

Think taller whenever you’re growing tomatoes 🍅
