Peter Dutton hits out at ‘weak’ Prime Minister Albanese

Opposition Leader Peter Dutton has hit out at Anthony Albanese during a media conference, claiming the Prime Minister is “weak and missing in action”.

“We go into this next election asking the Australian people to make a choice about who is best able to manage the economy and our national security, and I believe that I have the strength of leadership and the experience to be able to stand up and to fight for us,” Mr Dutton said.

“I don’t think the Prime Minister has the strength or the ability to stand up to a situation that is unacceptable to us.”
