DON'T make this Simple Camera MISTAKE!
Using wide open on your lens could actually be making your image far worse than you think. Some lenses are not sharp wide open and I absolutely recommend potentially not filming or photographing wide open!
Try stop down a touch and you will most likely get a better image.
This is all case to case scenarios though.
You will lose a little bit of light. You will see more depth of field.
