But instead Porcini develop symbiotic relationships with trees like oak, pine in deciduous and coniferous forests. the mycelium of that mycorrhizal mushrooms create cage like structures around the tree roots. Providing the tree with fast absorbing nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, mushrooms receive in return products of photosynthesis like sugar, carbohydrates, amino acids and phytohormones.
I also want to assure you that without that mycorrhizal symbiotic relationship porcini mushroom are not going to exist for a long time and will die soon.
Because they can not get enough nutrients, because they do not feed on the dead organic matter like saprophytic mushrooms or Porcini. They also cannot absorb nutrients from living organisms like parasite mushrooms.That fact should make it clear to understand that the growth of Boletus edulis in pots or containers is absolutely impossible and all the recommendations about this are absolutely absurd. Boletus edulis can easily develop rings up to 30 meters in diameter. So mushrooms aren’t bushes or trees, if you plant them near the fence do not expect them to sit and produce fruits right at the same place.
