Windows 11 Multiple Network Adapters Set Network Card Priority Metric Value. Set preferred network use Advanced Metric Value in advanced network interface settings.

When you go to Internet Connections, Network Adapters, you can see the TCP-IP settings where you can set a static IP for the network cards but if you click on advanced, you will see the Metric value settings.

When you have multiple network cards either SFP+ 10Gb fiber or Ethernet 1Gb, 2.5Gb or 10Gb, you can use the metric Ethernet adapter value to tell Windows 11 which network adapter has higher priority.
A lower value means the card is closer and has higher priority. You can put any real number for example 1 metric for high priority and 100 metric for low priority.

Asus Merlin Firmware on RTBE92U Router.
I show you the Asus Router RT-BE92U Web Interface UI Settings looks like similar to the stock ASUS Router firmware with the ASUS Merlin custom router firmware.

Asus Merlin or Arsuswrt Merlin looks the same as the standard Asus router firmware but there are some differences.

There is also the OpenWRT firmware alternative but that is way too complicated in my view.
I had the Asus RT-N66U router with Asus Merlin and it worked fine many years.
Now it’s time to upgrade to a new router so I chose Asus and I’ll show you how to setup Asus Merlin on this router model. The RT-BE92U web interface looks similar with stock or Asuswrt firmware.

You can setup or install your Asus Router RTBE92U with your phone iPhone or Android working with the Web interface or the Asus Router App or you can use your PC to connect to the Router administrator web interface.

The new router used in this setup supports 3 Wi-Fi bands 2.4Ghz, 5Ghz and 6Ghz. The WiFi networks are combined under one name and the Wi-Fi can be configured to have separate names (SSID) for each network band.
