We see Big Time Rush up close, and we fangirl. Hard.

7/14/12
After the concert we saw in Dallas, which was amazing, we were on our way back to our car, singing and talking about how great they were. We sort of lost our way, and had been walking for a good 10-15 minutes when we saw a crowd of people standing around in front of some gates. They were separated into two separate lines, leaving a big space of parking lot in the middle.
We asked our parents to let us stay and wait like all the other girls, and we did.
There were security guards hanging around, so at least that was a good sign. Why would there be this crowd of people and guards if nothing was going to happen there? So that's what made us stay, despite our doubts and the fact that it was already late at night. Well, the three of us are crazed teenaged girls, so our hopes were high, and my mom is very supportive and knows what it's like to be a desperate fangirl. My dad, on the other hand, was very pessimistic and skeptical.
After an hour or so of doubt, fatigue, my dad pressuring us to leave, me trying to ready all of the cameras for when they finally decided to come out, thinking we saw BTR when we really didn't, freaking out, hoping passionately, security guys telling us to step back, security guards going in and out of the gates, someone delivering the BTR guys Taco Cabana to eat, and Logan and James (I believe) sticking their heads out for two seconds to peek at us...
Some guys started bringing out these silver barricades and began to put them in front of us, herding us all like sheep. It was kind of funny, actually. They put the gates around all the fans, and my friends and I were up front! We were so lucky. There were tons of people behind us, including my parents, who ended up filming some of this stuff.
So, now that the barricades were up, we knew for sure that the BTR guys would come out.
First, Rachel Crow came out; she had opened for them, followed by Cody Simpson (but Cody had already had a fan signing after his performance, and I hadn't even heard of him before that day, so it was no big deal to us). So Rachel came out, and she went very slowly and talked to each section individually. When she came to us, she commented on our shirts (which we had made ourselves), saying "Wow. You guys have got some awesome shirts!" We thanked her and asked her to take a picture with us, which she did. She was so nice. I also really like her singing voice.
After that is when the guys came out, at around 11:07. I remember because my friend Rachel (not Crow) had just told me that it was almost 11:11 and that I should make a wish. I looked down at my watch, it was 11:06, and just a minute later, the craziness began.
To sum up the technical difficulties we had:
We used our video camera to record the concert, but it SAID that it only had a minute remaining of battery, so I was very nervous and attempted to use it sparingly. When James came out, we were all excited, and I tried to film. But an error message was popping up, which is why you can hear me saying "It's out" at 0:52... which, as you can see, it WASN'T. But I didn't know that at the time.
Our picture camera also takes videos, but for some reason it had been acting up that day. When I tried to take pictures or videos with it, it shut off immediately. It made me so mad.
And so with that in mind, I tried my best, in the frenzy that I was, to get any kind of footage/photos I could with those devices, but with no luck (at least I THOUGHT so). So I randomly whipped out my new (but used) phone someone had given to me, and took very blurry pictures. I am really horrible when it comes to phones. I don't know how to use them. So I accidentally started taking video, and that is what you see here.
Getting the camera footage to work on my computer is a painful story: first the sound didn't work, I had filmed it sideways, the quality was terrible... and it still is terrible, but it's improved.
Plus, this video is in HD, which I didn't know I could do before! I'll be sure to make all my videos HD from now on, if possible.
Logan and Kendall were the only ones who came specifically to us. James had come NEAR us, but was a butthead and skipped right over our little section. Haha. Carlos never even came close to us. We saw him from afar, and you can see him running past us there at the very end.
Logan had come to us first, and I was too starstruck to ask him for an autograph or something. As you can hear, I just keep telling him I love him. Haha. And I was still trying to work my phone, and the shock was very fresh. My friends, however, got Logan to sign something for them. I was the stupid one.
When Kendall came around, I was still very excited, if not more (he's my favorite). However, I AT LEAST managed to ask him to sign my shirt. (I really wanted to reach out and grab him, but I was too afraid and didn't want to assault him.)
So, if you saw this and thought, tl;dr, I don't blame you.

Summary: We saw BTR. We freaked out. Watch the video.
